Got-Autism Celebrates National Autism Awareness Month
In order to highlight the growing need for concern and awareness about autism, the Autism Society celebrates National Autism Awareness Month every April. Autism touches so many lives now, with around 1.5 million Americans living with an autism spectrum disorder.
Through our partnership with Hydrotech, Inc. in Cincinnati, we’ve gotten to know about Got-Autism, an organization started by Hydrotech employee Tammy Andersson and her coworkers that utilizes their experience as distributors to provide educational, therapeutic, and practical life products for children and teens living with autism.
In honor of National Autism Awareness Month, they are having a huge spring inventory sale on April 11th from 10 am – 4 pm at their facility at 10052 Commerce Park Drive in Cincinnati. If you’re in the area, stop by - there will be door prizes, snacks and a raffle.
If you’re not in the area, check out their website, www.got-autismproducts.com, for many great products carefully selected, taking into consideration everything from benefits to cost, quality, durability and relevance. Their aim is not to present you with an endless range of choices, but to bring you the very “best therapeutic, educational and sensory solutions” all in one location.
The Got-Autism website also has resources for those dealing with the autism spectrum, from information on autism and Asperger’s Syndrome; biomedical information; schools, camps, therapy and vocational programs; online support communities; legal resources and advocacy groups.
